We agree five year plans or price controls with the Utility Regulator.
These outline how much money we will invest in the network and how we will meet government renewable energy targets. These plans detail network upgrade and maintenance programmes as well as new build programmes.
Our current five year plan (RP4) will complete in 2012 and we have submitted our future plans which will run from 2012 to 2017 to the Utility Regulator. This is called Regulatory Period 5 or RP5.
