Important steps

Step 1: Complete an online registration form to receive a Generator Application Pack (G83) by email.

Step 2: The installer who fits the generator should complete a commissioning form included in the application pack. This should be returned along with a signed copy (witnessed by a third party) of the completed application form by post to Distribution Generation, NIE Dargan Depot, 57 Dargan Road, BT3 9JU.

Step 3: You should contact your supplier to agree a purchase contract and the installation of an import/export meter installation

Step 4: Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) will countersign the agreement and return a signed copy to customer.
