Lovely Lisnaskea Winner

A lovely lady from Lisnaskea was delighted to receive a luxurious hamper recently from Northern Ireland Electricity.  
 
NIE’s John McCay presented Mrs Carol Li from Lisnaskea with the hamper at her home, as winner of NIE’s recent direct debit promotion.  
 
John said: “We’re encouraging as many of our customers as possible to pay their NIE bill by direct debit. Every NIE direct debit customer gets discounted electricity. Mrs Li is just one of many recent winners. She was entered into the competition when she and her husband signed up to pay their NIE bill by direct debit.”  
 
Householders who choose to pay their NIE bill by monthly direct debit get 4% discount, up to £28 a year off electricity bills. Monthly direct debit enables householders to spread the cost of their electricity over the course of the year, taking into consideration possible seasonal changes in usage. Customers will know how much is due to go out of their account as a monthly amount is set, giving customers more control.  
 
If householders prefer to pay the actual NIE bill amount, customers can pay by quarterly direct debit and still get 2.5% off your bills, saving up to £18 per year. NIE’s direct debit means convenient payments with discount off future bills. You will continue to get a statement from NIE, so you know the details of electricity usage.  
 
Mrs Li was delighted with her prize, she said: “We chose direct debit because it is a much more convenient method of payment. We were delighted with the hamper and it certainly went some way to adding to our Christmas celebrations. You never know, if you pay by direct debit you could win a hamper.”
