Saving energy at home

The Energy Saving Trust estimate that, on average, a typical home could save at least £200 each year by taking some simple energy efficiency measures. Around one quarter of the carbon dioxide emission produced in the UK each year come from energy that we use to provide heat and light in our homes and to run an increasing number of household appliances.

The good news is that there are lots of ways to make your home more energy efficient, and some of these are free! You can find out how by using our interactive energy house, follow some simple tips and complete a free Home Energy Check.
